Working with people who desire to change their experience in one way or another is an honour and a privilege. I often meet clients at their most vulnerable when they have forgotten or lost connection with their inner resilience. It is one of the most rewarding experiences to be a partner in this journey, to witness their learning, growth, and healing process, and to see them reclaim their peace of mind and power and create the life they truly desire. Our work together has the potential to transform your perspective of your trauma, yourself and the world around you.
Because trauma is stored within the nervous system, we need to work with the body (Soma is Greek for body); it's not just about our thoughts. The residual energy trapped within the nervous system has either heightened or suppressed the neurological responses to stimulation and is no longer regulated. Therefore, our work together will involve regulating the nervous system. Every nervous system is unique, and so are our sessions together; however, I will help you to develop the ability to track your nervous system, safely explore body sensations, stay present within uncomfortable sensations, be present in the here and now, to a place of feeling safe and comfortable within your own body. There are many Somatic Coaching modalities we can explore while working together: breathwork, sounding, guided meditations, supportive touch, and sensory exploration, to name a few.
While it's crucial to address the nervous system, we must also recognize how trauma can disconnect us from other aspects of ourselves. At the core, we all share a common trauma: the illusion of separation. We've been conditioned to believe, accept, and act in ways that reinforce this separation. This initial trauma, if left unresolved, can compound, leading to a life filled with experiences of trauma, both “T” and “t”. Consciousness Mentorship, also known as Transpersonal (beyond self) Mentorship, is designed to address this initial wound.
The journey of consciousness can help you reconnect with your Self, inner wisdom, and creative power, expanding your consciousness and deepening your relationship with the external world. This process can lead to meaningful and sustainable change through self-mastery.
My holistic approach offers comprehensive support for the whole person. Together, we can work to support your physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual well-being, recognizing the crucial need for harmony between all aspects of our being to unlock our fullest potential.
Perspective is defined as a particular attitude towards or regarding something. Essentially, one’s perspective is the lens through which one sees the world. Trauma can significantly distort how you view yourself, others, and everything around you. Admittedly, while the nervous system is dysregulated, shifting your lenses’ focus can be challenging as your body, thoughts and emotions are regularly hijacked or suppressed.
However, while understanding and regulating the nervous system, we can work towards changing our perspective of ourselves (body, mind and spirit) and the world around us, empowering us to take control of our lives.
To assist in integrating all aspects of self, we can use modalities such as CBT (cognitive behaviour therapy), mindfulness, meditation, visualization, energy work, journaling, shadow and inner child work.I take a person-centred approach to my therapeutic relationships.
I strive to create an egalitarian relationship in which we work together as partners to achieve your desired outcome. I provide a safe, empathetic, and judgment-free environment. I foster a space where you can openly express your intimate thoughts and feelings, knowing that you will be met with understanding and compassion.

My only agenda is working towards your established goal. My approach is organic, as each person and situation has unique and individual requirements. However, as listed above, a session will likely contain cognitive (mental process, mind) and somatic (relating to the body) components.
I delight in working with folks willing to do the work and step into the sometimes uncomfortable aspects of inner child and shadow work. Introspection is not easy; it can make us feel scared, ignorant, and unsteady. Working in partnership can lighten the load. As your awareness and understanding of self deepen, it allows for expanded choices in how you respond and create the circumstances on your journey. It will enable you to break old patterns and to see with new lenses. As you establish harmony within all aspects of the self, there is an increasing sense of purpose, aliveness, and power.
